Why is knowing where Jesus is from so important?
- It shows us that this all really happened.
- It shows us that Jesus is the center of history.
- It shows us that God is working in all things, good and bad, for His purposes. (Matthew 1:17, Matthew 1:3)
- It shows us that this story is for everyone—even people that no one else claims. (Matthew 1:5-6, Luke 4:18-19)
