WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible is without error and we recognize Scripture as the final authority in our lives.
We believe in one God who exists in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the world.
We believe that man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but was alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort.
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin and salvation is eternally secure.
We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the Word and daily yielding to the Spirit, every believer should mature and become conformed to the image of Christ.
We believe the church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to a lost world.
MEET KEYSTONE MV'S PASTOR | MARK WHITE
“Pastoring is, without question, a passion of mine. But, it isn’t the only thing that fuels me. I enjoy traveling, cooking, watching movies and exploring national parks. I’ve run a couple marathons and am always up for a good adventure if I can get someone to go along.
God gave me a relational personality and it has kept me curious about people and their stories. Our family is blessed to have similar interests and we often are looking for what’s next.
My family is very important to me. We live our life on mission and take very seriously the command to love your neighbor. My wife, Jennifer, is a natural disciple maker who is super smart, kind and has been a secret weapon for this pastor for many many years (she makes me look way better than I am). My son, Billy, is a high schooler who, like his mom, has a high level of compassion for serving others and like his dad, enjoys being silly and hanging out with people.”
THE HISTORY OF KEYSTONE FELLOWSHIP
Our founding and lead pastor, John Cope, moved to the Philadelphia area with his family in 2001 to start Keystone Fellowship.
What began as one church, has multiplied into several church plants and other Keystone Churches in the greater Philadelphia region. Keystone Fellowship is a family of churches, who work together to advance the Kingdom, by developing leaders and planting churches.
Currently Keystone MV, Keystone North, & Keystone SJ make up our Keystone Family. But we are always looking to plant new churches and advance the Kingdom throughout our region.
Keystone Fellowship partners with SEND NETWORK as they help plant churches everywhere for everyone.
